jazz

An upbeat, high energy, technical dance style including, strength, flexibility, leaps, turns, kicks and modern choreography & technique.

 

This genre attracts dancers who are focused, goal orientated but want a fun and upbeat class environment and have energy to burn.

contemporary

A free and expressive style including floor work, partner work, turns, leaps, kicks, lifts and fresh choreography. This style promotes release, body awareness and exploration & emotion.

This genre attracts dancers who want to express themselves and explore storytelling, interesting body movement patterns, and letting go.

tap

This fun and energetic class is perfect for young dancers just starting their tap journey! Students will learn the basics of tap, focusing on rhythm, footwork, and sound while developing coordination and timing. With an emphasis on creativity and self-expression, this class will introduce simple tap steps, basic combinations, and lots of toe-tapping fun.

 

Dancers will gain confidence, improve listening skills, and enjoy making music with their feet—all while having a blast! Perfect for little ones with boundless energy and a love for rhythm.

hip hop

This energetic and upbeat class is perfect for dancers who are excited to explore the foundations of Hip Hop in a fun and supportive environment. No prior dance experience is required—just enthusiasm, confidence, and a love for moving to music!Dancers will learn basic hip hop grooves, footwork, coordination, and musicality while developing their own style and performance quality. The class includes age-appropriate choreography, freestyle exploration, and plenty of opportunities to build confidence on the dance floor.

ballet

This Ballet class is designed for dancers who are ready to progress through the RAD  syllabus in a supportive, non-exam setting. While students will not be participating in formal RAD examinations, they will benefit from the structure, discipline, and technical development the syllabus provides. Dancers will focus on building strong classical technique, musicality, posture, turnout, and strength through barre and centre work. They will explore more complex allegro, adage, and pirouette combinations as they advance through the year, all while gaining confidence and artistry in their movement.

acro

Acrobatics is a class that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. Acrobatics focuses on fundamental technique to teach flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control and concentration.

These classes are great for students who are wanting to try something different to their regular dance class and like the idea of a challenge.

All of our classes are equipped with professional training apparatus

The following pre-requisites must be met for acro before registering:

Beginner Acro - no requirements

Intermediate Acro - must know how to do a handstand, cartwheel & bridge.

Advanced Acro - must know how to do a handstand, cartwheel BOTH SIDES, bridge, backbend from standing, back & front walkover.

musical theatre

AVAILABLE LEVELS:

Beginner/Inter (Ages 7-12), Inter/Advanced (Ages 12+)

​This exciting and imaginative class introduces dancers to the world of Musical Theatre through dance, storytelling, and character play. While this class does not involve singing, dancers will explore the magic of Broadway by learning choreography to songs from popular musicals and engaging in creative drama-based activities.

Students will develop skills in performance, facial expression, characterisation, stylised jazz movement, timing, and stage confidence. Classes also include acting games, storytelling exercises, and fun improvisation challenges to help dancers tap into their creativity.

This class is perfect for young performers who love to dance, act, and bring characters to life on stage.

tiny toes

This adorable introductory class is perfect for our youngest dancers, age 3, who are ready to explore movement in a fun, imaginative, and nurturing environment. Tiny Toes introduces little dancers to the basics of creative movement, ballet, jazz, and lyrical through playful activities and age-friendly exercises.Dancers will learn simple skills such as basic positions, gentle stretches, simple steps, rhythm games, expressive arm movements, and imaginative storytelling through dance. The focus is on building confidence, coordination, musicality, and a love of dance—without any pressure.

ADULT JAZZ:

This welcoming and upbeat class is perfect for adults and older teens (ages 17+) who are new to jazz or returning dancers looking to ease back into the studio. Designed with a beginner-friendly focus, this class offers a supportive space for anyone wanting to move, learn, and rediscover the joy of dance.Dancers will explore jazz fundamentals including kicks, turns, simple leaps, travelling steps, isolations, and musicality, all taught at a comfortable pace. The emphasis is on building confidence, fitness, coordination, and expressive performance skills—without pressure or intimidation.Whether you're trying jazz for the first time or stepping back into dance after a break, this class provides a fun and encouraging environment for all experience levels.

ADULT TAP:

This fun and rhythm-filled class is perfect for adults who are new to tap or have some previous experience and want to build on their skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.Dancers will explore tap fundamentals including shuffles, flaps, riffs, time steps, travelling steps, turns, rhythm patterns, and syncopation, with options and progressions to suit both beginner and intermediate levels. The focus is on developing clear sound, timing, coordination, and musicality while building confidence and enjoying the process.Classes are upbeat, engaging, and designed to challenge dancers at their own pace—whether you're learning for the first time or returning to tap after a break.

The levels pathway goes as follow:

Tiny Toes –Mini Movers -- Beginner—Beginner Extend—Intermediate—Intermediate Extend—PreAdvanced –Advanced—Advanced Extend (advanced extend should be for dancers who have done at least 3 years in Advanced) *dancers want to spend at least 2 years in each level unless recommended otherwise by your instructor.

THE EXTEND PROGRAM is designed for our dancers to keep developing their technique at a higher level while remaining in their age range! We recommend this program for dancers who have done that style for at least 2 years' experience in the level prior (eg. 2 years in Beginner contemporary ---> Beginner Extend Contemporary). Instructors will make the final decision on the enrolments and contact you if we think there should be any changes made.


WHY CAN'T I SEE THE CLASS I WANT TO REGISTER IN?

This will happen if your age does not meet the requirement for the class or is outside the range. If you have organized with the instructor to be in this class please contact us and we will fix this manually.*please read below about acro requirements
